KAARTA FORMS ADVISORY BOARD WITH LUMINARIES IN ELECTRONICS, INTERNET TECHNOLOGY
Charter members Bob Dobkin and Rob Chandhok to guide Kaarta on growth and innovation
Pittsburgh, PA – Kaarta, innovator of the next big leap in 3D modeling, today announced the charter members of its newly-formed advisory board.
Bob Dobkin is a renowned inventor and one of the founding fathers of analog integrated circuit design. He is Co-founder and CTO of Linear Technology Corporation, which he grew to 5,000 employees and ultimately sold to Analog Devices for nearly $15 Billion. He holds more than 100 patents in the field of analog circuits, and the reach of his inventions is vast – including basic electronic components found in today’s computers, cars, and smartphones.
Rob Chandhok is a senior executive and technology strategist with more than 30 years’ experience in the mobile and Internet markets, including newer advancements in the Internet of Things. He is currently Group Chief Technology Officer for Daily Mail and General Trust plc. He has led and advised both emerging and established companies, including 3DFortify, LeEco, Intercede, Helium Systems, and Qualcomm – where he spent over 12 years and oversaw the strategies underlying the development and productization of the company’s mobile software technologies.
“Kaarta is leveraging cutting edge technology and applying it in the right way – to bring speed, accuracy, and usability to indoor mapping,” said Rob Chandhok. “It’s hard to overstate the importance of Kaarta’s dynamic approach to the challenge of indoor mapping and how it unlocks new applications and services.”
“We have attracted top talent to join our team in transforming the way we capture and use 3D reality information, and Bob and Rob are no exception; both are immensely successful in starting and growing new technology ventures,” said Kevin Dowling, CEO of Kaarta. “We are fortunate to have their support and insight as we prepare to take our next innovations to market and grow Kaarta.”
Kaarta is the innovator of real-time 3D reality capture, mapping complex environments with unprecedented speed, fidelity and ease. Kaarta’s patent-pending technology, rooted in advanced robotics, accurately transforms the real world into multi-dimensional 3D digital models, streamlining workflow, reducing time, lowering cost, and enabling entirely new applications. Now the spectrum of stakeholders across architecture, engineering, construction, property management, surveying, and facilities management can work from the same truth, going from silos to integrated teams in the design, build, and operations of the built environment.
